Hundred years of political science – Future, past, present
The main annual scientific event of the Finnish Political Science Association will be held in co-operation with the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Helsinki premises from 11 to 13 May 2022. In 2022, the theme of the conference is Hundred years of general political science – Future, Past, Present. Finnish political science with its German roots is long-lived internationally, and over the decades various other traditions have influenced it. The diversity of the field of political science, which is practically reflected in how it is called by different names in different parts of Finland, has been its strength. We hope that the presentations will describe the current state and future of the broad discipline from different perspectives. Presentations on the history of the discipline are also warmly welcome.
